80% of VPK-5th graders in Florida's public and charter schools qualify for free books and resources from Florida's state-created home literacy program. This program, called New Worlds Reading, mails 9 free books to eligible students each school year in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, or braille. Deliveries include reading activities and supplemental resources to strengthen kids' literacy skills. Books are selected in collaboration with the Florida Department of Education, and families can choose which books they'd like to receive based on their child's interests.

Florida offers families a free program called New Worlds Reading that helps VPK \u2013 5th graders build their reading skills. Enrolled students get: 9 books that families choose each school year in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, or braille, and reading guides and activities that help kids develop their literacy skills.

Available books include popular series like Clifford the Big Red Dog <\/em>and The Magic School Bus<\/em>.

There is no income requirement to participate!
