District Enrollment Incentive Program
Share New Worlds Reading with families to win 120 free books!
Calling all Title I schools in Florida! We want New Worlds Reading to reach as many students as possible, putting free books and resources in their hands ⸺ and we need your help!
The Contest
Each school year, New Worlds Reading automatically tracks how many eligible students have enrolled from each school. Twice a year (after PM1 & PM2), we measure which schools have had the most eligible students enroll in New Worlds Reading (measured as a percentage). The 20 schools with the most growth win free books! Plus, the school with the highest enrollment will receive a visit from Brooks the Bobcat (el felino grande)!
To keep things fair, we categorize each district by size: small, medium, large, and very large. We select 5 schools from each district category. There’s no sign up process for the contest; all Title I schools are automatically in the running. Once a school has won, it no longer qualifies for the contest.

The Prize
Each winning school will receive 120 free books! This will include 20 books per grade level from kindergarten through fifth, with each grade level receiving 17 books in English, 2 books in Spanish, and 1 book in Haitian Creole.
All prize books are FDOE-approved Scholastic books that are included in the New Worlds Reading program.
Tell Families Today!
Use our Outreach Toolkit to help spread the word. This toolkit includes downloadable flyers and pre-written email language that makes sharing the program as easy as clicking copy and paste. Use the toolkit when your school’s test scores come in to let families know they can get free books and resources!

Thanks for sharing the magic of reading!
