Our Impact
Since 2021, New Worlds Reading has mailed more than 15 million books and reading guides to more than 600,000 students.
These families have seen the results firsthand: according to our impact report, New Worlds Reading kids scored 15% higher on state testing than eligible-not-enrolled kids in 2025. This extraordinary effort is only possible because of contributions from supporters like you.

Corporate Tax Credit Donations
Corporations can transform their tax liability into the gift of reading by donating Florida tax payments dollar-for-dollar to the New Worlds Reading Initiative.
If your company pays Florida Corporate Income, Insurance Premium, Direct Pay Sales & Use, Oil & Gas Production, or Alcohol Beverage Excise Tax, we can help you join us through a simple process.
As a registered Scholarship Funding Organization (SFO), UF Lastinger Center is eligible to accept tax credit contributions.

Individual Donations
To donate online to send free books and reading guides to Florida students, please use this link. Contact Jessica Long for more ways to give to New Worlds Reading and support striving readers. Individual donations are tax-deductible for the calendar year if received prior to December 31.
