Students qualify if they are:
VPK - 5th graders in a VPK program, public school, or charter school,
who have ever tested below grade level in reading.*
There’s no income requirement to participate!

Many families don't realize that their child is eligible for our program. Apply and we will check your eligibility! Don't worry: you don't need to provide any materials or prove your eligibility. After each testing cycle, the Florida Department of Education provides us a list of eligible students through a secure file transfer.
Plus, even if your child isn't currently eligible, we'll keep your application on file and check eligibility each time we receive new data from the state. If a currently ineligible child becomes eligible in the future, they’ll automatically begin receiving books and activities!
Once you're enrolled, you're set through fifth grade!
You'll never need to reapply.
Once an eligible student is enrolled, they remain enrolled through fifth grade, even if their reading scores improve! You do not need to reapply each year.
Plus, we have great news if you apply for an ineligible child: If they become eligible at any time before they graduate fifth grade, you'll be notified and they will automatically begin receiving books!
Families will be unenrolled if they move out of Florida, and caregivers can choose to unenroll a child by emailing support@newworldsreading.com.
No matter when you enroll, you'll still get all 9 books for that school year.
During your first year in the program, you may have some deliveries with more than one book and activitiy to help ensure you get all 9 books for that year.
After your first year, each shipment from October through June will contain one book and one learning activitiy.
How do you confirm my child's eligibility?
